History
The Rim golf course was designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish. Opened in 1999, the course and community quickly became one of the top residential golf communities in the Southwest winning numerous awards from Golf Digest, Golfweek, Travel + Leisure and The Robb Report. Located in the Tonto National Forest, the largest Ponderosa pine forest in the US, The Rim is known for its spectacular views, temperate climate, great golf and beautiful homes.
Our beautiful community is supported by two cooperating organizations. The Rim Golf Club Community Association is responsible for the security, roads and common area maintenance, and design review for the 321 lots and homes at The Rim.
The Rim Golf Club is run by Arcis Golf, which manages the championship golf club, clubhouse, spa and fitness center. All homeowners are required to maintain a Sports Membership at a minimum. Non-Equity Golf Memberships are available through the The Rim Golf Club.
Members of The Rim Golf Club have access to our sister club facilities across the highway Chaparral Pines, depending on their membership type. Black Buffalo LLC is owned and operated by Phil Mickelson Golf Properties.
