Wine in the Pines
Not to be missed, each Fall and Spring the Club holds the Wine in the Pines tasting event. Extraordinary wines, great prices, spectacular food, and comradery round out an enjoyable evening.
There is an active group of Bridge players in The Rim and Chaparral Pines. Duplicate Bridge is played every Friday. Between 36-50 Chapparel Pines, Rim Club and Payson residents comprise this friendly group of players that play for four hours in a non sanctioned bridge format. Individuals and couples are encouraged to join. There are also refresher or get reacquainted Bridge Classes Mondays on an as requested basis. For more information, send us an email.
Ladies from The Rim and Chaparral Pines meet on Thursdays at Chaparral Pines to play Mah Jong. We welcome newcomers and will teach you if you don’t know how to play. Please send us an email if you are interested and we will contact you when our next get together is scheduled.

Avid and novice anglers will find many outlets in and around Payson. Whether walking the shore of Payson Lake, the Verde River, the Hatchery stream, Kohls Ranch or the Houston Mesa inlets there is fun available. Or you can take a float tube or boat onto regularly stocked Woods Canyon Lake, Willow Springs lake, Chevlon Lake or several others lakes all within less than a one hour drive of town center. The Rim ladies’ book club meets monthly at 3 pm in the ladies’ locker room on the first Thursday of the month. We read primarily contemporary fiction, but occasionally select a classic or non-fiction book. The discussions are always lively and enlightening. All are welcome any time you can join us.
